Wonderlarp is a non-profit organisation from Poland, uniting larpers, designers, scenographers, producers, and storytellers from all over the world. Collaboration and cooperation across borders is one of the main objectives of the Foundation, and we are excited to work with other organisations and co-produce events on the national and international scene.
So far, Wonderlarp has been involved in projects such as College of Wizardry, Heirs of the Dragon, Miskatonic University, Fairweather Manor, Adventurers' Academy, Convention of Thorns, and many others.
Whispering Isle is the result of a cooperation between the Wonderlarp team and a number of talented guest creators, uniting designers from six different countries, and making the project our largest collaborative endeavour to date.
The team
Karolina Fairfax
Lead narrative designer, producer
With a degree in English Philology and 14 year years of experience as a narrative designer, Karolina is an experienced writer and storyteller. She has written for games such as College of Wizardry, Odysseus, Conscience, Wards of Czocha, Adventurers' Academy, and many others, and when she doesn't design larps, she works as a developmental editor for indie authors. She loves complicated characters, ethical dilemmas, and well-designed plot twists.
Maciej Krzysztofik
Lead producer
Maciej is an old vampire, started larping in the 90ties, briefly took a break for a boring career, but returned with new skills and ideas. He has worked on College of Wizardry, Miskatonic University, Odysseus, Conscience, and other larps as a scenography, prop and lighting specialist. He’s a co-founder of Wonderlarp, who loves his crafting workshop, and who plays and designs way too many games.
Boyd catsman
Narrative designer
Boyd earned their bachelor of science in game architecture and design back in 2021 and has been working in the games industry as designer ever since. Fueled by the desire to provide people with a world to escape to, they have created worlds for various tabletop systems and projects for over a decade while always looking for the next story to help craft.
Chey Kuil
Narrative designer
Chey is a costume designer and writer by day… and also by night. She got into larp before having ever rolled a set of dice, then turned into an avid D&D player. They love bringing stories to life and sharing them with people, watching the worlds unfurl and change in unimaginable ways.
Chris Hartford
Narrative designer
Chris grew up in the English county of Nottinghamshire surrounded by the Robin Hood legends. This and his love of Tolkien led to playing D&D at school in the 1980s, and in turn UK larping. He became an RPG writer and has spent 30 years contributing to over 100 books including BattleTech, Vampire Dark Ages, and Vampire Victorian Age. Since his return to larping in 2017, playing a range of games and contributing to Qualia, Meeting of Monarchs, Odysseus and co-wrote a dance-larp, Masquerade.
Di
Narrative designer
Neurospicy dragon and spooniecorn from the depths of South Estonia. They have been writing fantasy since they learned to write, founded a theatre, made a movie and participated and ran LARPs for nearly 20 years after that (a long time in such a tiny country). When currently not dancing in a faerie circle, they write boring content, hunt pretty nature pics and fight for the rights of queer and disabled people. Their heart and soul belongs to two dra...CATS. CATS ARE NICE.
Dirk M. Weger
Narrative designer
Dirk M. Weger has been both playing and GMing RPGs for over 35 years and loves world-building. Originally from Germany, he used to live in Finland for 10 years and is a passionate reader and Trekker. He owns his great-grandfather's top-hat (technically an opera hat but hey…) and can touch his nose with his tongue. He likes type 2 fun in his larps and deep personal connections. He has a background in Linguistics and Theology and can’t wait to create a great game for you.
Kim Autumn
Narrative designer
Kim Autumn is a larper from the Netherlands. Before going to her first larp event in 2019 she already worked for some years orgenising other costume events and as character performer. When she's not at a larp event she is already preparing for the next one. By writing stories or designing new props and make-up looks.
Iryt Kraus
Props & scenography
Iryt is a scenographer and a prop-maker with 10 years of experience. They have worked on many high-quality larps like College of Wizardry, Fairweather Manor, Convention of Thorns, Miskatonic University, OldTown, Zweihander, Avalon, and many others. They are part of the practical team at Wonderlarp.
Andrzej Spera
Props & scenography
Long time larp crafter, making props, scenography and costumes since he was 14. Fueled by spite and energy drinks, he can make things beyond mortal imagination. You would know him only if you dared to look behind the scenes of both Polish and international larps, where he roams freely in his scenography kingdom at Wonderlarp.
